Nothing to Offer

In the social security debate, only one side is talking with any ideas about how to fix the looming shortfalls that will be inherited by the next generation. Republicans have come up with good ideas on how best to keep the program working, while democrats have offered only criticisms and obstruction.

Their "leave it alone" stance is sure to cause them problems in the future as benefit start melting away due to less money going into the system than is going out. The imbalance is obvious for anyone to see. While democrats continue burying their heads in the sand, their political suicide will likely haunt them for decades as people will remember who didn't do their jobs and fix it when they had the chance.

With the New media making great headway against the old liberal establishment, democrats can no longer rely on their media cohorts to cover up for their many political debacles.

Indeed the world has changed with technology. Those who can't or refuse to keep up will find themselves on the losing side everytime, as is now being seen by the lower circulation of most major newspapers.

The old liberal media is being found out for what and who they are. Their partisan deceptions are being exposed on a daily basis by the new media who tends to be more conservative and now has new voice to speak with called the internet and cable TV.

Leftist news organizations have been slanting the news or telling the public outright lies for decades in order to change public perception and keep the liberal elites in power financially and politically, knowing that by the time anyone checks the information, it would be too late because perceptions will have been changed as planned. Their shutting out of conservative voices has also been key to keeping democrats in power over during the 1990's as the Clinton administration certainly proved with the media darlings keeping liberals happy with constant corruption and emotional deceptions.

But not anymore.

Due to the new media's analysis of information, checks are made in seconds and bad information and/or lies are exposed in minutes. The old media was shocked to learn how CBS anchorman Dan Rather was exposed in trying to defeat president Bush using false information provided by a Kerry insider and a bias editor who lied to sway public opinion against the president. They knew what they were doing, but didn't expect to be found out until well after the election.

The reality is that the liberals have been turned inside out and they're having a very hard time dealing with not being in power and having command over the message they want to brainwash the public with, because they've been exposed as manipulators of information, by the new media.

As the social security battle continues, the left will be losing more in public opinion than they will ever admit with their mangled poll numbers, but the real truth can be found now by anyone who cares to investigate with other sources that are more reliable and unbiased.
